FIRE DEPARTMENT DEDICATES NEW PUMPER
The Village of Endicott Fire Department held a public dedication of its new 65-foot Snozzle pumper at its fire station on Madison Avenue. The pumper was put in-service after the dedication which included a blessing of the apparatus by Endicott fire Department Chaplin Edward Zandy of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Endicott.
The vehicle replaced a 1974 Seagrave pumper that was taken out of service last year because of continued mechanical problems.
Immediately following the dedication it responded to its first alarm which is captured in the slide show above. |
