The Firefighter 1 "Blended Learning" Class: This is a new program in which approximately 30 hours of the classroom instruction is done on-line in a web based course. All trainings are "Hands-on" and wil be done at the Vestal Training site.
NOTE: Departments hosting courses must still pre-register their personnel
AS OF APRIL 1, 2005: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING PAPERWORK THE FIRST NIGHT OF CLASS:
- A training Authorization letter signed by the Chief (If the Firefighter is under the age of 18, the letter must be co-signed by a parent or guardian.)
- Where required appropriate paperwork and forms MUST be turned into the instructor on the first night of the class.
NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED TO COURSES WHO HAS NOT PRE-REGISTERED.
